They’re small and portable, come in lovely colours and tuck into a cute little charging case that’s easy to bring along. Connecting them is straightforward, and the kids find them easy to use.
I do like cushioned over-ear headphones with noise cancellation, but once you pack them in their cases—and multiply that by two kids—they take up so much bag space. These are much easier to tuck in and go.
What I particularly like is the clip-on fit: they’re harder to lose from an ear when the kids are moving around. I’m not saying they’re impossible to lose—we’re still talking about kids—but they’ve stayed put well for us.
For my two, these feel like a good step between the headphones that hook over the ears and wrap around the back of the head, and eventually graduating to AirPods Pro 😉
