Age groups & practical details
Age groups: Explorers, Pathfinders and Trailblazers cover children from 18 months to 14, with eligibility varying by destination. The Trailblazer page lists Tuscany, Kamakura and Andalusia, plus Syros, Bali and Kotor from autumn 2027. It describes ages 12–14, while pricing says 13–14; confirm placement for a 12-year-old.
Learning: younger groups combine academics, projects and outdoor learning. Trailblazers use a daily academic studio with Crimson Global Academy online classes or a family-selected curriculum; parents remain involved in monitoring progress.
Upcoming cohorts: winter and spring 2027 are broadly January–March and March–June. The booking form and Worldschool Year page list 15 September–5 December 2027 for autumn, but other pages give different dates. Confirm the exact destination calendar before arranging travel.
New destinations: Barcelona’s Poblenou centre lists ages 4–12. Its destination page gives a January 2027 start while the booking form says spring onwards; its second summer camp also has conflicting August end dates. Confirm the chosen cohort directly. Annecy appears in the provider’s 2028 calendar; ask about launch timing and enrolment before planning a stay.
Staying in one place: the Local Expat package requires all nine months to be booked as three consecutive cohorts at the same destination. Its terms describe a non-refundable, non-changeable commitment, with limited stated exceptions; request the full terms with your quote.
What does it cost?
Costs depend on destination, dates, children and housing. The published enrolment fee is €400 per child. A Boundless Home or Local Host bundle advertises €300 off tuition per child per month for Worldschool Semesters, or €600 per child for summer camps. Ask for an itemised family quote and the separate Local Expat rate; discounts cannot automatically be combined.

What reviewers appreciate: Priya Judge’s 19 August 2026 review praises the team and cultural field trips. Kate Antoniotti’s 14 August 2026 review describes positive experiences across Italy, Kotor and Syros.
Concerns raised: Erika Rendon’s 14 August 2026 review praises the Bali teachers but says summer tuition is expensive for her family. Boundless acknowledged that pricing concern in its reply.
Useful next question: ask for recent feedback from families at your destination with children in the same age group.
