My four-year-old son, who weighs about 35 lbs, loves riding on it—whether I’m pushing him or he’s scooting himself along with his little body on top, even with the seat back down. My seven-year-old daughter, at about 52 lbs, loves it too, although I rarely push her on it.
Inside, both sides zip closed, so nothing spills out when I open it. It comes in handy when I’m travelling without the kids, too—I use the seat for my bags.
I’ve owned or used Monos, Away, Heys and Rimowa, and this is still by far my favourite travel companion for all kinds of trips. I’m keeping mine.

Carry-On Plus

There’s also the Carry-On Plus, though I haven’t bought it. The slightly bulkier, heavier frame has held me back; for now, I’m happy with the Original. The front pocket isn’t a dedicated laptop compartment, but MiaMily’s customer service confirmed to me that it can fit a 13-inch MacBook Air with a slim hard case and slim sleeve.
Carry-On Seat Pro

The Carry-On Seat Pro is the one I’m eyeing next. It’s the nicest-looking and lightest carry-on I know of with a seamless, zipperless design and a built-in laptop sleeve. I haven’t tried it yet, but I can see myself buying one when there’s more colour variety.
