Worth checking before you buy

Tushbaby advertises a free gift with a US$85+ carrier purchase and free US shipping on carrier orders US$60+. The US$75 Lite alone does not reach the gift threshold. Newsletter sign-up offers sale alerts, but a fixed sign-up discount could not be confirmed. Check the current gift and eligibility terms before ordering; don’t assume offers stack.

I own the original, larger Tushbaby hip carrier, but if I were buying today, I’d choose the Lite. It wasn’t an option when I bought mine.

The Lite is smaller and more streamlined, with fewer pockets. On paper, it ticks the boxes I care about without all the extra storage I don’t need. I’m carrying a child, not auditioning for Tim “The Toolman” Taylor.

I haven’t tried the Lite myself, so this is my pick based on its design and my experience with the Original. If you love having everything in its own pocket, the Original might be your thing. I’d happily take the simpler option.
